New Audi Q9: the pinnacle of the Audi SUV range is ready to conquer the road

Audi officially opens pre-orders for the new Audi Q9, the largest and most technologically advanced SUV ever created by the brand.

At over 5.3 meters long, the new flagship of the four rings introduces a new interpretation of the premium SUV concept, combining space, comfort, digitalization and performance in a model designed for those seeking the very best in quality and innovation.

Built on the premium combustion PPC platform, the Audi Q9 debuts with V6 3.0 TDI MHEV plus engines delivering 245 and 299 hp, permanent quattro all-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering as standard. It will arrive at Italian dealerships during the fourth quarter of 2026.

The new Audi Q9 stands out at first glance with its imposing proportions and clean lines.

With a length of 5.31 meters, it is the largest SUV in the Audi range and interprets the brand's design language with a front end dominated by the large vertically developed Singleframe and clean surfaces that enhance elegance and sportiness.

Among the distinctive elements are alloy wheels up to 23 inches, illumination for the Singleframe and rear rings and, above all, the new curved OLED 3.0 light units, unveiled as a world premiere.

A solution that combines design, safety and communication with other road users thanks to advanced lighting functions.

The Audi Q9 cabin has been designed to offer a higher-level travel experience. The standard configuration includes seven seats, while a six-seat variant is also available with two individual rear seats that are electrically adjustable, ventilated and designed to offer lounge-like comfort.

The 3.14-meter wheelbase ensures generous space even for third-row occupants, while the versatility allows up to three child seats to be placed side by side in the second row.

The onboard experience is further enhanced by exclusive features such as:

• automatic doors that can also be managed via the myAudi app;
• opening panoramic roof measuring 1.5 m², the largest ever installed on an Audi, with adaptive transparency;
• premium materials, including Nappa leather, alpaca wool and Audi exclusive finishes;
• Bang & Olufsen 4D sound system with 1,360 watts and synchronized interior lighting.

The luggage compartment also reaches a capacity of up to 850 liters in the seven-seat configuration.

Technology: digitalization, artificial intelligence and advanced lighting

The Audi Q9 introduces the latest technologies developed by the brand.

The cabin revolves around the Audi Digital Stage, consisting of the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, the 14.5-inch curved central OLED display and the screen dedicated to the front passenger, also measuring 12.3 inches.

The new E3 1.2 electronic architecture enables integration between ChatGPT, an advanced voice assistant and the Android Automotive OS operating system, offering an even more intuitive and customizable digital experience.

The lighting department also sets a benchmark thanks to the new advanced digital Matrix LED headlights, capable of adapting the light beam to road conditions and communicating useful information to the driver through projections on the asphalt. These are joined by the OLED 3.0 rear light units, capable of interacting with other road users through specific signaling functions.

Safety is further supported by a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems, including the advanced adaptive assistant, emergency assist and the integration between exit warning and automatic door management.

Range, line-up and powertrains

At launch, the Audi Q9 is offered with the new twin-charged V6 3.0 TDI MHEV plus engine, available in two power levels:

• 245 hp and 500 Nm
• 299 hp and 630 Nm

The 48-volt mild hybrid system integrates an innovative powertrain generator, an electric compressor and the traditional turbocharger, ensuring immediate throttle response, greater efficiency and even smoother driving.

Later, the range will be expanded with a V6 3.0 TFSI version and new plug-in hybrid variants, available in two different power levels.

The Audi Q9 will be available in Business Advanced, S line and Identity trims, with list prices starting from 116,900 euros.
